Privacy Policy

Keel (“Keel,” “we,” “us”) is a fictitious business name of York & Woods Incorporated, a California corporation. This policy describes how we handle information on thekeel.co (the “Site”). It does not cover information we handle for clients under an engagement letter, which is governed by that agreement.

Information we collect

Information you provide. If you contact us — by form, email, or phone — we receive what you send: typically your name, email address, phone number, company, and message. Website form submissions are delivered directly to our email inbox; we do not use a third-party CRM, marketing platform, or scheduling tool on the Site.

Proposal tool inputs. Our Build-a-Proposal tool asks for approximate revenue, expenses, and service preferences to display an estimate. These figures are processed to compute your estimate and are not stored by us unless you subsequently send them to us (for example, by submitting the engagement form or contacting us).

Automatic information. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service that collects aggregate, de-identified usage data (pages viewed, referrer, country, device type). We do not use advertising trackers, third-party marketing tools, or cookies on the Site.

How we use information

To respond to inquiries, prepare proposals and engagement letters you request, provide and improve the Site, and comply with law. We do not sell or share personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Service providers

We use vendors to operate the Site and our business, including Cloudflare (hosting, analytics, security) and Google Workspace (email). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.

Retention

Inquiry correspondence is retained for up to three (3) years, or longer where needed for the purpose collected or required by law. Analytics data is aggregate and not tied to you.

Your California privacy rights

California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We extend these request rights to all Site visitors regardless of statutory applicability. To make a request, email [email protected] or call 1 (888) 405-0880. We will verify your identity before acting on a request. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where legally required.

Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards, including TLS encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We will post any changes here with a new effective date.
